Here’s the lineup of all the runDisney Races at Walt Disney World in 2024. The last race of the year is the Wine and Dine Marathon, featuring characters not necessarily across a theme, but offering a little more variety than usual. The Springtime Surprise Race at Walt Disney World consists of a surprise theme but typically includes favorite characters across a category ( star wars, Pixar, etc.). The Princess Half-Marathon happens in February and honors 4 Disney Princesses each year. The Disney Marathon is the main race for the year and happens in early January, featuring Mickey and Friends. Each with its own themes, but all with a variety of race options to choose from. Some of you have the Walt Disney World Marathon lurking around the corner in January, right?Cigna is hosting that race weekend too. ?They’ve got some tips you can use to train for your next race: ?The hashtag is #CignaRunTogether.?Ĭigna hosts these events to help celebrate our choices for a healthy lifestyle & accomplishments (like meeting that goal of finishing your first or 50th race!). Be sure to follow along on Instagram, Twitter, and Periscope (longhorns2). We will be live-Instagramming, Tweeting, and?’Scoping. ?Some of your favorite runDisney bloggers will be there making sure you don’t miss out on the information. We’re grabbing “backstage passes” and visiting the kitchen for a session on healthy cooking. To plus the experience, my friends at? Cigna invited me to attend their blogger/social media meet-up at the Napa Rose Restaurant on Friday morning. I’m thrilled to be heading back to this race for my 3rd year. The payoff is just around the corner though: ?Disneyland is decked out for the 60th birthday, the race is celebrating the 10th year, and I’ll be hanging out with all my running friends in the Happiest Place on Earth. Running on the surface of the sun is hard, yo! It’s one of my favorite race weekends on the runDisney calendar and I didn’t want to miss it- even if it meant training in the hot Arizona summer.
?This year is the 10th anniversary of the race weekend, hosted by Cigna. In just one week, the doors of the expo will open to kick off the 2015 Disneyland Half Marathon.
